The people of the cave and their dog were mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and it is an accident and a true miracle, for people who used to live with people who worship idols or idols, and they worship God Almighty alone, not His secret partner, God Almighty says in Surah Al-Kahf verse 18, In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:
And you count them awake while they were lying down, and turned them right and left, with their dog spreading out his arms
If I saw them, I would have fled from them, and I would fill them with horror.

The story of the people of the cave crosses many of our lives, whether for one another or for the loyal brotherhood. so they gathered in the cave, praying to God to establish them on the truth and support them from this village, in which injustice, immorality, corruption, killing and eating abounded Some of them tended to one another, as it was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an he mentioned the number of the people of the Cave, but it was not specified how many, God alone knows best. God Almighty says, In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:

The people of the cave began to worship in secret, fearing for themselves from their unbelieving people, because if their matter discovered certain death their fate, one day while they were shedding their sheep, as a sick, hungry, and lean dog was almost dying, their hearts became tender so they took the dog and fed it and treated its A disease, the dog became strong and energetic,
helping them in grazing, hunting, and protecting cattle from wolves and all dangers. He became loyal to them and protected them from everything. They called him Qatmir, one day, and if the owners of the cave passed by the idols that the people of the village worship, The king of the village saw them that they did not prostrate to his gods, so he stopped them and said: How much do you do not prostrate to God, and they were afraid and fled quickly, afraid of punishment,
so they fled to the cave, praying and begging God Almighty to save them from this unjust king, so they all bowed down to God, so God killed them in that state. 309 years are a lesson and a miracle for those after them. The dog missed its companions but did not find them.

The king waited for them to leave the cave, but the owners of the cave entered and prostrated to God, Lord of the Worlds, so it was their last prostration, so God took their soul, the owners of the cave died and they became a miracle and a story with a lesson Many people have their hearts like stones or they are more powerful.

God Almighty says in Surat Al-Kahf, In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:
Likewise, we stumbled upon them so that they know that God’s promise is true and that the Hour is unquestionable, as they quarrel among themselves.

The wisdom of having a dog with them
The presence of a dog with the people of the cave is one of the miracles that remain timeless and expressive for all times, that the dog is the only animal loyal to its owner that protects and protects their property, Ibn Katheer says:
Their dog included their blessings, and what happened to them from sleep in that state, and this is the benefit of the good company of the good people, because this dog has become a good news male) for future generations.
Studies have proven that the dog is one of the smartest animals, as they use them to detect drugs and prohibited things, in addition to the strong sense of hearing and smell, and also used in hunting, that dogs are of great benefit to humans, and its mention in the Holy Quran is an indication that this animal is loyal And useful.
God Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
9- May you grant me good offspring from yours, for you will hear the supplication.
10- Our Lord believed in what I was revealed, and we followed the Messenger, so we wrote with the two witnesses.
111- Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our extravagance in our affairs and establish our footholds and support us over the unbelieving people.
