Does the heart think ?  Evidence from the Holy Quran

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. We will learn through the Holy Qur’an and its verses the importance and functions of the heart, is it responsible for feeling, thinking, contemplation, awareness, the distinction between error and the more correct, and whether it is The source of emotions in all their forms.

God Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an, in Surat Al-A'raf verse 179.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful: We have excused many jinn and human beings who have hearts that do not understand, They have eyes with which they cannot see, and they have ears with which they do not hear, such as cattle, but they are astray.

Through the verse and reflecting on its meanings, we find that the center of contemplation and jurisprudence stems from the heart, unlike the mind. The verse says (they have hearts with which they do not understand), that the meaning of the verse is crystal clear that the center of contemplation is the heart as it was also mentioned in Surat Al-Raad verse 28.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful: Those who believe and whose hearts are reassured by the remembrance of God Do not in the remembrance of God hearts find rest.
When we think more about the verse, we find that it tells us that the heart has characteristics, including reassurance, stability, and high psychological comfort, also in Surat al-Zumar verse 22.
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful: So who does God explain his heart to Islam, for it is on the light of his Lord, a woe
Their hearts are cruel from the remembrance of God. Those are in a clear delusion.

The verse tells us that those whom God explained their chest to Islam, they live in a safe, happy and contented life, and a life that is all light and love. As for those whose hearts were hardened by the remembrance of God, they are in the clear delusion, meaning that the heart is the main organ of feeling and feeling.

There are many verses about the heart and its great importance in the human body. God Almighty says in Surat Al-Anfal verse 2, In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:

Rather, the believers who (when God mentioned ) and their hearts glorified, and when His revelations were recited against them, they increased their faith and increased their faith
The Creator tells us that upon mentioning his name, and mentioning his qualities, ability and greatness, hearts are submissive and fear of their Creator, submitting to his command, and when mentioning his verses before them increases their faith and strengthens their hearts, God Almighty says in Surah Al-Hajj verse 46.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful: Did they not walk on the earth, then they would have hearts or ears through which they reasoned
They hear it, for it is not blinded, but the hearts that are in the breasts are blind (46)

Here is a very important point that must be paid attention to, which is that the heart thinks, rationalizes, manages, and distinguishes between right and wrong. Scholars have studied that the seat of thinking and jurisprudence is a result of the mind, but how does the Noble Qur’an say that the heart is responsible for feeling and reason and not  The mind.

Most of the scholars say that the heart is nothing but a pump to pump blood, because the heart can be blind (the eyes are not blinded, but the hearts in the breasts are blind).

The secret of thinking of the heart

The secret is in thinking of the heart, or love or emotion, the jurisprudential evidence is that many verses in the Noble Qur’an indicate this, but scientifically, scientists have discovered in their many experiments for patients,

 especially doctors in the United States of America, that there is a strange phenomenon, for those who undergo surgery for heart transplantation, And they are in the thousands every year, when observing the condition of the patients and finding something strange, that the patient just changes his heart ♥.

Many things change in his personality, drastic changes. Here lies the question about this change and what is a heart transplant? For example, when transferring a person's heart to another, we find that the behaviors, feelings and feelings of the recipient of the heart have changed in a very large rate,

we also mention in an operation for a girl who had psychological problems, and she underwent a heart transplant surgery, and the result was that the girl changed her personality and She improved and became in love with things she used to hate, and in terms of things she loved, she did not love. Glory to God, scientifically, we conclude that the heart has many functions.

We also mention another experience, which is a surgery for a small child who replaced his heart with another child's heart, after the operation, it was found that the child had a defect on the left side of the head. For the heart, the consequences were all on the patient's personality, perception, feelings and emotions.

Work of the heart

Upon hearing the word heart, it wanders in her mind that it is pumping blood to all parts of the body, but this is one of dozens of heart functions. We infer another experience of a person who transplanted a heart to him,

and upon recovery he says that he knows the descriptions of the person who killed the first heart owner and that he sees The events and sounds of the event, when we look closely, we find that the functions of the eye, hearing, and uttering all the senses send nerve messages to the heart, which the heart stores and then sends to the mind and the mind,
 who then acts, so we conclude that the center of reflection, jurisprudence and feeling is the heart to say God Almighty: (And they have hearts with which they do not understand).

Doctors see heart work

The Noble Qur’an came in every little and big in this universe, and it was revealed 1400 years ago, believing in it and the signs and miracles that came in it, but today truth has appeared and falsehood is invalid. Science has proven the validity of this religion and this book (the Holy Qur’an), says Dr. Jacques Coplant,

Glory to God, and the greatness of his creation for everything. God Glory be to Him says in Surat Al-A'raf verse 43, In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:

And we took away what was in their breasts of the rivers flowing under them, and they said: Praise be to God, who guided us to this and what is in us. That God has guided us, the messengers of our Lord have come with the truth, and we wish that Paradise will come to you.

God Almighty says:

 (Our Lord, we are safe, so forgive us our sins and the torment of the Hellfire)

 God Almighty says:

 (Our Lord is our trust, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, and you are the best of the merciful.)
