The miracle o
f the Prophet Hood, peace be upon him
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
Today, we will learn about the story of Prophet Hood, peace be upon him, and his miracles with the people of return who were overwhelmed with corruption and infidelity.
Who is the Prophet Hood, peace be upon him
Hood, peace be upon him, is a prophet of God Almighty sent by God Almighty to a people who returned. The Prophet Hud, peace be upon him, mentioned seven times in the Holy Qur’an, including five times in a surah in his name which is Surat Hood, and once in Surat Al-Shuara, and once also mentioned in Surat Al-A'raf Noah belongs to his ancestors.
the Prophet Noah, peace be upon him, who God saved from the unbelieving people by the miracle of the ship and dumping everything on the earth, Hood is the son of Shalakh bin Sam, the son of Noah, peace be upon him, the story of the Prophet Hood is an expressive story for the people of Abu to believe in what Hood brought peace be upon him.
The story of Hood, peace be upon him
God Almighty says in Surah Hood verse 5, In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:
God has sent His prophets to the people in order to guide them from disbelief to the path of truth and Islam, God has sent His Prophet Hood to a people who returned, a people known for the strength of the body and their building of many and great civilizations. They were oppressed by what God bestowed upon them of goodness and power.
People used to worship idols and idols and do all sins and evils. So God sent His Prophet Hood, peace be upon him, to guide them to worship God alone without a partner, and he instructed them to seek forgiveness and return to God who
bestowed upon them good things There are countless and countless people who come to them with a messenger unless they mock him and tell him, You are the gods of our fathers and their forefathers and the life of luxury and we follow you. Walk with him with the message that he came with.
God, glory be to Him, said in Al-A'raf, verse 66, in the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:
The people mocked Hood, peace be upon him, and what he brought about the truth warned them of wrath from God upon them, and that this power and the good things that you gain is that God willingly takes everything from you, and as a continuation of the happiness God Almighty says:
He said, O people, I am not foolish, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the two worlds (67) I inform you of the messages of my Lord, and I have forgive you (68)
Hood has remained in this way, inviting his people to worship God alone, without a partner, and to stop worshiping stones that do not enrich or get fat from hunger. He called them by all means secret, openly, intimidation and strength, all of this for fear of the wrath of God Almighty, and He imposed on them the painful torment as happened to the people of Noah, peace be upon him.
the people gathered and called Hood, and they said, Oh Hood, we do not want you to invite again to what you want, we will keep on what we found our fathers and grandfathers on, and if you were right we missed this torment if you were of the truthful.
Hood, peace be upon him, may God glorify Him, called that the unjust people are no longer to believe. God Almighty says in Surat Hood verses 54, In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:
If we say that some of our gods did not rebuke badly He said that I bear witness to God, and they bear witness that I am innocent of what you share (54).
Who are the people returned
The people of Aad, they are the people of Aad bin Aws bin Aram bin Sam bin Noah, the Noble Qur’an mentioned a people who came back as a people who were distinguished by God, glory be to Him, by strength and greatness of bodies and abundant good things, and distinguished them by tyranny, oppression, corruption and stubbornness.
they were living in a region Al-Ahqaf is called and is now present in Yemen, in the kingdom of (Aram), they were the heirs of the Prophet Noah, peace be upon him, they gained strength, strong structure and great military power, and they had many children and abundant cultivation.
but in return they disbelieved from their origins to their Prophet Noah, peace be upon him, and they became worshipers Idols and stones, and their injustice increased to some, so their reward was severe torment from God Almighty.
Al-Ahqaf verse 24, in the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful:
So when they saw it as a barrier to the future of their valleys, they said this
Rather than a rainy one in which you rushed with a wind that has a painful torment (24).
Rather than a rainy one in which you rushed with a wind that has a painful torment (24).
The torment of the people returned
The Prophet of God, peace be upon him, called Houd, may God bless him, that some people have denied my message, eh, and that they preferred to worship stones over belief in God as Lord. Here came the punishment of God and severe torment.
Barren, they did not believe and remained stubborn until God sent a strong wind. They looked at the sky, and there was a big cloud coming. They were glad and said, “Hood, the rain will descend, where is the severe torment that you promised us, but it was a sterile wind coming that destroyed everything, God mocked it for them.
For a period of seven nights and eight days, a strong wind plays with them, lifting it up to the sky and descending them as if they were empty palm miracles.
All the people of Hood died because of their arrogance and their tyranny and their disbelief with what the Prophet of God Hud, peace be upon him, brought.
God Almighty says:
We send a cramping wind against them on a continuous day of misery (19) that strikes people as if they were old, muffled palms (20)
